Claire has been a passionate part of the North East theatre scene for over 30 years, working across both musicals and pantomimes. Having graced the stage for more than two decades in leading and principal boy roles, she brings a wealth of experience and infectious energy to every production.
Her talents extend far beyond the spotlight — Claire has worked across countless backstage roles and first stepped into directing over 13 years ago. She made her directorial debut with the annual Christmas Pantomime at the Phoenix Theatre, Blyth, before going on to direct major musicals across the region. Her impressive credits include Grease, The Full Monty, Hairspray, Legally Blonde, and 9 to 5 the Musical. She has also directed professionally for Enchanted Entertainment Ltd on their Christmas Pantomime in Ipswich.
Following the pandemic, Claire founded Klass Productions with a simple goal — to bring high-quality, accessible theatre to audiences across Tyneside, Northumberland, and Newcastle. Since then, the company has delivered five highly successful shows, including High Ridin’ by James Hogan, Sinderella and Big D (adult pantos), Aladdin at Anarchy Brew Co, and the smash-hit musical Rock of Ages at the Tyne Theatre & Opera House.
Now, Claire is thrilled to bring Klass Productions home to Blyth with a truly magical festive family fairy-tale for all to enjoy.
