Debbie began her stage career at the age of 14 and continued performing in a variety of roles for many years before gradually moving into costume work. She learned to sew from her mother, a talented dressmaker with a natural flair for design—something Debbie believes she inherited. Her favourite costumes to create are for Dames and fairies, as these allow her imagination to run wild with creative designs. However, wardrobe for pantomime involves far more than just making costumes. Debbie is backstage for every show, handling running repairs, ensuring the cast look their best before going on stage, and tackling the dreaded laundry each night. She hopes everyone enjoys the show.
